Svetlana Shur

Svetlana Shur is a customer service and sales representative with over 20 years of sales experience of dedicated, first-class service and sales. From early in her career she received accolades, such as Rookie of the Year, for a major real-estate firm. Svetlana has a dynamic, dependable, friendly, and business-focused demeanor. She works closely with nonprofit organizations, schools, religious institutions, and municipalities seeking to obtain grants from foundation, corporate, federal government, and individual donors. Svetlana also brings a diverse skillset with successful, professional experience across several industries as a contracted tax professional and in the legal field with a national paralegal certification.
She is highly proficient in Microsoft Office. While working at Microsoft, she designed training for Microsoft Account for over 20,000 new sales account customers and taught other Microsoft employees. She also prepared budgets, spreadsheets, and presentations for in-house sales programs. Svetlana is also fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, and English. She established a private magazine for the Spokane Russian community that now reaches 400,000 church and community members. She is on a two-year term on the Council of Four Square Church, and she volunteers weekly at both St. Mary’s Catholic and Gonzaga Preparatory Schools.
Svetlana has 15 years’ experience managing apartment homes in all executive and human resources operations. She is a Bemer medical equipment distributor for Washington State, and is certified as a Washington State Caregiver with a Washington State Agency/Facility License, runs all facility operations, and is fully DSHS Foster Parent-certified.
Svetlana co-hosted a Seattle AM radio show, Head of the House, and previously served on the Board of Directors as Treasurer for the Color of Success, a non-profit organization. She is Coordinator, Academic Foundation for International Cultural Exchange. She organizes and plans private events for Russian, Ukrainian, and Ethiopian communities, and assists in finding funding for non-profit sectors to write both local and federal grants. Svetlana is the mother of four children, and she enjoys going to the gym, playing basketball, and cooking in her free time.
